Now that&amp;#39;s a waste. But I read somewhere that there are rules that the city has to comply with federal guidelines when it comes to taking care of these houses--I don&amp;#39;t know. Seems like a big bureaucracy is stopping these houses from getting fixed. But I wa...</title><content type='html'>I live in Hampden too, Medfield actually. But I was over on the west side in the Fulton/Monroe area recently and MAN are there ever a lot of boarded-up houses! What is the deal with this city? I feel like it must be somewhere near 1/4 or 1/3 of the buildings across all of town are boarded-up.
