Noticed this new thing? Every time you go on the baltimoresun.com you see a full page ad. Now, I understand the Sun needs to save itself by annoying its readers. Fair enough. We weren't loyal, after all, and we deserve this punishment.
True, there were a few character assassinations, and true, the font on the actual newspaper is unreadable, and true, they gave us Nestor Aparicio's idiocy in their B (or is it b?) daily free paper, but don't they deserve our love just for being pretty much the only ones there?
It's sad that newspaper are folding all over the country, but it also makes sense. It's all about online content now, and we're not going back. There's room for everyone, including baltimoresun.com and every other Baltimore blogger, even little me.
I just wish the Sun could find better ways to get money than to run full page ads like that. You know what? I'm going to do my bit. I'm going to click on an ad on the site.
"Contact Liberty and receive a free meter"? I don't even know what it means, but I'm going to click it.
Oh no... I just saw the Google Ad under the story about the woman who got burned in the nail salon...
