Gotta love the fire in the hearts of some Baltimore residents. Some of you may have seen a lottery drawing split screen extravaganza during Bruce Springsteen's Superbowl half-time show.
Not me, because with all due respect to Springsteen and to the lottery, I don't care.
But Governor O'Malley did care, and when he saw Springsteen minimized on WBAL in order to give the lottery drawings a place on half of the screen, he wasn't happy, and called the lottery director, who said that in the future they should try to scroll the lottery results at the bottom of the screen.
A funny non-story, really. A lot of talk about who loves Springsteen more, O'Malley, his Chief of Staff, or the Lottery Director. The end.
But not on the Baltimore Sun Talk Forums.
O'Malley has time to whine about halftime show, no time to recite the Pledge [Poster mixes this story with another unrelated one about a scheduling conflict].
WBAL and the MD Lottery have a contract, a DEAL in place that this HAS to be done... SO now because MOM had to watch a split screen of an old guy who still cannot sing, he wants to break a contract?
Nothing can soothe the soul of the Devil himself. He is such a baby and a whinner.
Gotta love these people (these whinners, if you will), as they tirelessly search for a way to bring back the good ol' days of a Republican Governor to Maryland, when welfare was demonized, when anti-death-penalty groups were spied on, when the bay was considered a dumping ground. And now... they have only the talk forums...
