City of Firsts sure took its time

So Kratovil won, which means Harris lost. What else does it mean?

1. Is this the end of Ehrlich's political career? A man who had the respect of many on the Left has shown his real face. First, he authorized spying on activists, including war protesters and death penalty opponents, and then we saw him campaigning for McCain. At first, before McCain's campaign got pathetic, Ehrlich's role made sense. Here was a moderate Republican from a Democratic state helping the moderate Republican candidate. But by the end, when McCain was asking, "Who is the real Barack Obama?" Ehrlich was first to go on TV and say, "A Communist." So long, Ehrlich. And sorry you ended up on the wrong side of history.

2. Gotta love these ads. Harris got some people to say his primaries opponent was too Liberal. Then he photoshopped their heads on different backgrounds, and pretended they were saying the same things about his Democratic opponent.

Kratovil and Gilchrest
3. We will not be represented by a man whose father's name is Zoltan. Say whatever you want, but Zoltan is an extra-terrestrial leader from "Dude, Where's My Car," not the father of my representative.
